打從兒童時期開始, 我對於音樂的喜好已經逐漸變成生活中不可或缺的一部份, 不管是在搭車行進間, 或是在家無聊時, 總是會播放點音樂, 不讓自己的耳朵閒置下來, 尤其是自己獨自生活在外的時候, 一進屋子的大門, 就會立刻尋找音響的遙控器, 馬上打開廣播電台或是播首自己喜愛的音樂, 這樣才能驅除獨居的空蕩蕩感覺!

而我最早接觸且記憶最深的到的一首英文歌, 就是「Stand By Me」, 對當時不甚瞭解英文語意的我來說, 優美的旋律, 加上英文單字大多是在學校讀過的我來說, 很快就能哼唱個幾句, 所以從上了高中開始跟朋友混跡Pub的時候, 點歌的時候, 都會不時地把這首歌列為我必聽的歌曲之一!

日前在網路新聞上看到「Stand By Me」原唱者 - 班伊金Ben E. King（美國黑人歌手)過世的消息, 讓我又再次想起年輕時期自己非常喜愛的歌曲!!!
